Kredyty z Notre Dame High School
W ramach umowy z Notre Dame High School, uczniowie naszej szkoły mogą otrzymać kredyty za naukę języka polskiego. Dotyczy to uczniów od klasy siódmej do jedenastej, którzy uzyskają ogólną ocenę przynajmniej dobry. Kredyty otrzymuje się tylko za bieżący rok szkolny i są to akceptowane tylko w szkołach średnich (nie na uniwersytetach). Aplikacje rozdajemy uczniom w kwietniu, za każdą aplikację pobieramy 40 dolarów opłaty, którą w całości przekazujemy do Notre Dame High School. Poniżej informacje od dyrektor High School.
Dear Parents of 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11th grade students:
Besides being the best, we have a very unique program agreement with Notre
Dame High School for Girls. We are a recognized and certified polish language school.
As such, we became a satellite center for the high school on Saturdays. This allows us to
be the only Polish school that can offer parents/students the opportunity to earn 2 ½ years
of foreign language credits. Each year you will be asked if you would like your child to
enroll in the fall to earn this credit. You will pay an additional $40.00 per year ($15 for
registration and $25.00 for processing the paperwork that goes along with earning the ½
year of credit (each year on Saturdays).
If you decide not to do so, you cannot ask for the credit next year for past years. It is only
given during the actual year you are in school.
This is wonderful. Most schools accept the credits. Some students might not have to
take an additional foreign language at their school. Others, when they fill out college
applications, having two languages look very promising. Again the decision is up to you.
If you want to participate, simply fill out the attached form, attach the $40.00 to the
form; and return it my office by May 5th 2012. We will then take it to them to have it
processed. We cannot honor any later applications.
